Brigantine COHO

Location: Penryn

Status: Concept / Outline planning

As part of our Project FalCoN, We're thrilled to announce that Ambos has officially become the proud owner of our very first plot of land, known as 'Brigantine'!

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your financial support, encouragement, and belief in our vision. This achievement would not have been possible without you.

We're raising funds and planning for an event for all members and the wider community next spring/summer 2024. We're eager to share the next part of this incredible journey with you, and we need your help to make it a day to remember. We're looking for volunteers to assist with pruning, stimming and making the site accessible , don’t be shy! Now is an excellent time to get hands-on and connect with other members and contribute to the project's success. So if you can carve out some time to help, we’d love to hear from you.

While we've reached this significant milestone, there's still a journey ahead. We're currently awaiting outline planning approval, which is facing delays due to ongoing discussions with Cornwall Council regarding legal agreements related to affordable housing and biodiversity net gain contributions. Once we receive approval, we'll dive into the detailed design phase, and we warmly invite members and local residents to get involved and help shape the future of 'Brigantine.'

As a Community Land Trust, Ambos need the support of local residents to make projects happen. If you think you have the time and skills to support Ambos & Project Falcon, we would love to hear from you. You can download the Trustee role description HERE.
